Starting-off your student life

The keys to your apartment are almost in your hands. But before unpacking your boxes, a few steps are essential to facilitate your daily life. To prepare your move in the right conditions, make an appointment with your manager to discover your future apartment.

After that, only two steps are necessary to finalise your arrival :

• Electricity: you must request that electricity be turned on in your apartment. You can contact the supplier of your choice.

• Financial aid for housing: under certain conditions, you can receive the ASL (Aide au logement à caractère social), by making a request at the CAF. You will need to bring your rental contract and documents concerning your income. For more information: www.caf.fr

There’s nothing better than feeling like you are at home!
The manager of the residence will accompany you before and after your move in order to facilitate your daily life and the services offered in your student residence. So feel at home!

It’s time to move! Don’t stress about finding a moving company! All of the equipment is already installed (equipped kitchenette, furniture, etc) and the technical details are already organised. You will need to provide the certificate of rental insurance latest the day of your arrival. Once you have done this all you will need to do is unpack your boxes and arrange your apartment as you like it!
